Doha, Qatar – 10 June 2025 – The Global Champions Arabians Tour (GCAT) returns to the iconic city of Cannes for the second time, marking the fifth stage of the 2025 Europe and Middle East Series and the first European stop on the Tour. Taking place from 13–15 June, the event will unfold in the heart of the glamorous French Riviera, celebrating the heritage, elegance, and excellence of Arabian horses in one of Europe’s most celebrated destinations.
Taking place at Stade de Hespérides, this charming venue near La Croisette offers an unforgettable setting for top-tier equestrian sport. Following successful stages in Doha, Ajman, Muscat, and Riyadh, spectators in Cannes will witness some of the world’s finest Arabian horses compete for top honours and a share of the €1,050,000 prize money in the Championship classes and an additional €360,000 in the qualifying classes.

The event offers free public entry, with ample grandstand seating available for all spectators. Visitors can explore a vibrant shopping village, featuring a curated mix of local and international brands, regional delicacies, and exclusive GCAT merchandise. Throughout the weekend, guests will enjoy cultural and family-friendly entertainment, leading up to a dazzling Sunday finale.
The Village, located beside the showground, serves as a lively hub where guests can experience the charm of local artisans, explore curated activations, and engage with the region’s cultural essence.
The show will begin on Day 1, 13 June, at 15:45 with the introduction of officials, followed by the opening ceremony. Competition will then start with classes for Yearling Fillies, Yearling Colts, and Junior Fillies.
On Day 2, 14 June, beginning at 14:00, the spotlight turns to the Junior Colts, alongside the highly anticipated Senior Mares and Senior Stallions classes.
The final day, 15 June, opens at 18:00 with the championship rounds across all categories. The evening will also feature the honouring of the officials and conclude with a memorable closing ceremony.
